Da Salzburger® coffee products, from Salzburgers for Salzburgers. All our coffee beans come from our coffee roasting plant in Saalfelden, Pinzgau.

Highest quality 100% Arabica coffee, crafted in the Salzburg coffee roastery, the coffee workshop of Simon & Rafael Schärf. Under the watchful eyes of Simon and his team, each bean is refined by hand with the greatest care and patience. The result, depending on the composition, is unique and combines enjoyment with sustainability. Three of our blends are 100% organic Arabica coffees, and our Indie Pop is Fairtrade and organic certified.

With our new roasting control and sensor technology, we can measure the temperature of the coffee beans inside the roaster and thus specifically delay the roasting point or the development phase after the "first crack." This gentle and very slow roasting process ensures that the beans are not roasted too hot, the aromas do not evaporate, and the individual natural taste, shaped by the individual growing regions, is preserved.

All "Da Salzburger" blends are roasted using the "blending after roasting" method to a medium roast level. The result is a very digestible coffee with few bitter substances and a natural coffee aroma.

As with almost all products, packaging is an important topic for coffee to preserve quality and protect the environment. For our 500g, 1,000g, and ESE PAD packaging, we exclusively use kraft paper without aluminum coating with an aroma valve. The 500g and ESE PAD packaging for private or resale has a zip closure that allows for airtight reclosing.

Everything is packed by hand and stamped with a wooden stamp. This avoids additional transport routes for packaging materials and also waste. Each bag is unique, and you can feel it.
